For the past three decades, my professional career on Long Island has been in both the brokerage and hospitality businesses.  As a Financial Advisor for Smith Barney for fifteen years, between 1992-2007, I developed my strong financial background, building an investment business composed of high-net-worth, retail clients.  This career allowed me to parlay my financial skills into managing and operating mega-sized, high-end, high-volume, profitable restaurants beginning in 2007.  High-volume restaurants, typically with sizeable seating capacities are tricky business models which employ approximately one hundred people and generate gross revenues exceeding $10 million dollars. They are a veritable social arena of human behavior and dynamism.  

Between 2007-2015, my employment with the Poll Hospitality Group on Long Island, NY led me to open TOKU Modern Asian restaurant in Manhasset, and Bar Frites Bistro in Roslyn Heights, NY as General Manager.  Here, I refined my professional, operational, and managerial skills by working with a talented team of hospitality professionals and owners to bring both establishments to the forefront of the Long Island restaurant scene.  

Hired as General Manager by several other hospitality groups in the subsequent years, I rounded out my teambuilding and managerial skills by operating various culinary venues including, Steak House, authentic Italian, Nouveau cuisine, a proof-of-concept lobster fast food chain, ultimately settling in at RARE650 Steak House by Anthony Scotto Restaurants in 2019.  

At present, I operate and manage RARE650 Prime Steak & Sushi as the General Manager for the past four years.  Through Covid in 2020 and to date, my team has executed and elevated their game under my direction, making this restaurant establishment a first-class hospitality operation, with a repeat clientele, praiseworthy social media reviews, delicious quality food, and a profitable business model.  

I credit my professional success over these past three decades with the personal knowledge, experience, and wisdom needed to actively recruit, train, and elevate my employees with a unique skill set of business leadership techniques, personal gratitude, and a clear corporate vision.
